Harlee McBride is an American actress, director, and writer who was born on September 20, 1948, in Los Angeles, California. She is best known for her roles in the films A Wedding, The Big Easy, and Flashdance. McBride started her acting career in the 1970s, and over the years, she has worked on stage, television, and film. She has also directed and written screenplays, including for the film The Waiting Game. McBride became well-known for her starring role in the 1978 film National Lampoon's Animal House, where she played the character of Peaceful Gloria. She was nominated for a Golden Globe award for her role in the film A Wedding. McBride is married to actor Paul Dooley, and the couple has three children together.
